Born in Genoa on 25 January 1976. After finishing his classics studies, in 2000 he obtained a degree in Law with a final score of 110/110 at the University of Milan. A lawyer since 2003, he has worked in the law firm of Francesco Arata, with whom he set up “Studio Legale Arata e Associati” in 2012 together with other partners.


He provides in-court and out-of-court assistance in the following areas of criminal law inter alia: crime against the person and property, crime against the public administration, corporate crime, bankruptcy crime, environmental and town planning crime, crime related to infringements of the regulations on accident prevention and the prevention of occupational diseases, financial and stock market related crime.

He provides consultancy for banking and insurance institutions with specific reference to criminal law issues and on behalf of businesses, in particular on “worker safety and prevention of accidents in the workplace and occupational diseases” (Legislative Decree 626/1994 – Legislative Decree 81/2008) and “liability of legal persons for administrative offences resulting from a crime” (Legislative Decree 231/2001).


He has spoken at conferences on culpable liability (with particular reference to the regulations on accident prevention and the prevention of occupational diseases) and on administrative liability of legal persons. He worked for several years on the Preparation Course for the Lawyer Examination organised annually by “Libera Associazione Forense”.
